Parish Mission

What is a PARISH MISSION
This is a special time of Jesus’ favor for families and
individuals to focus on the status of their relationship with
God, on the quality of their family and individual lives, and
on their service to the parish and local communities. It is a
special time to celebrate Jesus’ never-failing goodness and
love in our family and personal lives. It is a special time to
answer, once again, important questions such as: How is
God working in my life? How can I experience greater joy
and peace? What more can I do for God, for my family, and
for myself?
MARCH 5-7 DINNER WILL BE SERVED!
REGISTRATIONS WILL BE REQUIRED

Welcome to St. James Cathedral Website

We hope that your visit will bring you to encounter the Holiness.

The Cathedral of St. James is both the dwelling place of God and the spiritual home base of the Catholic people of Orlando. Here they meet their God and one another for joyful prayer, and come away rejuvenated in their Christian Vocation. The Cathedral is the Bishop's church, and like him, is a source of unity in the diocese, which is the territorial division under a bishop's care. A cathedral church finds its foundation in the people of the diocese and is the story in stone of their worship and communion in Christ. St. James is also the parish church of the people who regularly worship here. You are invited to experience the divine presence in the sacred silence and in the beauty of the surroundings.

Dear Friends and Visitors of St. James

"A simple list to keep in mind"

Welcome to the Cathedral of St. James, the official center of the nine-county Catholic Diocese of Orlando! We are grateful for your visit

I pray God will bless you and yours during the moments you spend here. In the mysterious ways of God's grace, may this be a time of inspiration and of a renewal of your own relationship with the God who loves you so much. Peace be with you!
