UNA FIDESClick here for upcoming events- Kitty Cleveland!!Una Fides is Latin for “One Faith’’ and the organization helps Catholics re-discover their faith. At St. James, parishioners Chris Caruso and Diana Coffman helped form the Una Fides ministry in the Diocese of Orlando during 2003, and serve in leadership roles there. Its members are committed to build the Body of Christ by encouraging Catholic men and women to enrich their faith through prayer, study and fellowship. The ministry was formed six years ago by members who recognized the need in the Catholic community for study and formation through fellowship. Una Fides sponsors “Our Catholic Faith’’ study groups and hosts luncheons and conferences that feature Catholic speakers. We currently have a Women's Catholic Book Club! The group meets every 6 weeks or so in a St. James parishioner's home. The group reads books by Catholic authors about catholicism. For a listing of books read to date, see http://www.unafides.com/booklist.html We also have a Women's Bible Study Monday mornings! The Acts of the Apostles: The Spread of the Kingdom. This study is a 20-week session, from September 19. 2011 through April 2, 2012. (There will be breaks for school and national holidays.)The group meets in a St. James parishioner's home from 9:15 - 11:00 a.m. For information contact Chris Caruso at
